Professor Bas Rokers’ manuscript was accepted and published by the Journal of Vision entitled: Task feedback suggests a post-perceptual component to serial dependence. The study found that serial dependance in 3D motion perception is influenced by stimulus properties, with reduced stimulus contrast leading to increased bias towards the previous trial’s direction. Performance feedback, which reduced sensory uncertainty, abolished serial dependence. These findings suggest a post-perceptual locus of serial dependence in 3D motion perception and its role as a response strategy in sensory uncertainty. https://jov.arvojournals.org/article.aspx?articleid=2792738
