Abstract
Around 80% people died by suicide has depressive disorders. The purpose of my work is to find stable spatio-temporal biomarkers with task-state MEG data. We applied a series of electrophysiological methods (like, time-frequency strategy, hidden markov model, brain connectivity analysis) to analyze MEG data recorded under an emotional expressions recognition task. We have found that the abnormal gamma oscillations (>40Hz) of visual cortices induced by emotional stimuli might be reliable biomarkers for identifying potential suicide risk.
