The LAMINATE team received the Best Presentation Award at the 10th MENACTRIMS (MENA Committee for Treatment and Research in MS) Congress in Dubai for their presentation, “LAMINATE: Longitudinal AI-Based MS Lesion and Atrophy Segmentation Tool for Heterogeneous MRI Datasets.” This recognition highlights the team’s innovative work in making longitudinal MS imaging more practical and reliable in real-world clinical settings.

The congress also showcased strong collaborative research from the NYUAD Center for Brain and Health in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Yas Clinic, including two well-received posters: “Tract-based Quantitative MRI for Resolving the Clinico-Radiological Paradox in Multiple Sclerosis” and “CVS-View: an AI-powered tool for automatic identification of central vein sign to aid MS diagnosis.” In addition, Dr Osama Abduallah was also honored to join the Empower MS panel with people living with MS—a reminder that research should not only strengthen datasets, but also shape priorities that truly serve the MS community.
